Studio Details:
This studio location has many great benefits:
Ferris Wheel Arts (FWA) is located in the back of the City Too building of City Antiques and Interiors
at:
700 Holcomb Bridge Rd, Suite 400, Roswell, GA
Convenient parking and entry:
- Plenty of parking close by.
- You can drop off your supplies at the entrance and then proceed to the parking lot.
- (The studio entrance is located on a driveway that no-one is supposed to use as a cut-through, but that does get ignored by a few drivers. We have signage to try and limit cut throughs.)
- There is an overhang at the entrance which is great for unloading and loading on rainy days.
- It is possible to avoid steps altogether by parking at one end of the parking lot and walking around the retaining wall.
Overall convenience:
- Studio members can leave a limited amount of supplies, including canvases, at FWA, while space is available.
- Your painting spot will be set up and ready for you prior to class time.
- Access to a larger flat surface as needed.
Access to my supplies as needed, and/or for experimentation including:
- a large assortment of of acrylic painting mediums, varnishes, and gessos
- a variety of types of acrylic paints including heavy body, soft body, fluid, inks, pouring, house etc.
- a selection of other art media including gauche, pastels,
- a selection of oil paints and oil painting supplies
- many conventional as well as unconventional painting tools
- stencils, stamps, and papers
- a selection of art books, including art instruction, inspiration, and business topics for creatives
- lots of objects for still life setups
- and much more
Studio setup for each student includes:
- an easel,
- a small cart,
- a chair or stool
- and a tray table or similar.

Meet our lead instructor...
My small group classes and private lessons are based on my philosophy that creating art is a personal process unique to each individual. I believe in encouraging each student to experiment with a variety of styles, tools, and techniques to discover and pursue a creative practice focussed on authenticity and continued learning.
Beyond painting & teaching, I also coach fellow creative entrepreneurs to build successful businesses. Through consulting, website design, & marketing strategies, I offer the technical & business expertise needed to navigate the digital world & turn artistic passion into a sustainable career. My goal is to help artists & creative professionals thrive in every aspect of their business journey.
